A native Virginian, Keith Bell has spent over 20 years studying and practicingthe healing arts and Oriental medicine. Keith practiced massage therapy in Richmond for several years before going on to study Oriental medicine in Sante Fe, New Mexico at Southwest Acupuncture College. There he earned a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. Keith is a Nationally Certified Acupuncturist (NCCAOM) and is a licensed as an Acupunturist by the Virginia Board of Medicine.

In 1999 Keith returned to Richmond to found Oriental Medicine Specialists, P.C. OMS was the first clinic in Richmond to offer the full scope of Oriental Medicine: acupuncture, Oriental nutrition, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Tui Na (Oriental bodywork) and Qi Gong. Since 2002 Keith has also partnered with acclaimed nutritionist Tina Shiver, M.S., R.D. .

Keith is also committed to bringing education and inspiration to Richmond. He founded and produced the Mid-Atlantic Holistic Health Conference in 2003 and 2004 which brought world renowned leaders in the field of holistic health to Richmond. In 2003, personal friend and mentor Joan Borysenko, Ph.D. headlined the conference and in 2004 Larry Dossey, M.D. and his wife Barbara Dossey, Ph.D., R.N. came to present alongside some of Richmond's best.

In addition to his general practice, Keith is currently working with patients dealing with fertility issues. He has had great success with this over the years and has decided to dedicate much of his time to those trying to conceive and maintain healthy pregnancies.
